Red Nose Day 2019

Red Nose Day is a UK-wide fundraising event organised by Comic Relief every two years. The aim was to "bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people, which we believe requires investing in work that addresses people's immediate needs as well as tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice".

At Ark Victoria pupils were encouraged to help us to raise funds for this worthy cause by bringing a donation of £1. They were also allowed to wear red to support this charity. Primary school pupils were also allowed to wear casual clothes. Cakes were also sold at break by the Year 5 team.

Secondary pupils participated in activities at lunch time for a £1 donation such as splat the teacher and penalty shoot-out.

Thank you for your support. It was a great day enjoyed by all!
