Ark Victoria Academy is an "all through family school". It is an ethos that we have worked so hard to establish since we opened, and which we know is valued by our families. Ark Victoria provides pupils with a unique journey in their education through the curriculum and wide range of opportunities that we offer as an all through school. We support and empower all staff and pupils to become ambitious, resilient, and kind citizens who understand their role in our community and the wider world. Pupils leave us with the skills and qualifications to continue their journey of life-long learning in a university or career of their choice.
Training opportunities
Our success would not have been possible without great teachers, which is why we offer the very best training for all our staff. We provide regular coaching sessions and have an open-door policy for teachers so that peers can share learning and best practice. Our training doesn’t stop once you reach a certain level or learn a certain skill – we’ll support you throughout your whole career, from starting out as a trainee to running your own school. In order to deliver the best training and network events, we offer twice as many training days as standard. Your school will develop and deliver its own training sessions which are responsive to need.
Be part of a network
Joining our school means becoming part of a network of education experts who are all united by the same purpose - a commitment to making a difference where it matters most. You will have the opportunity to come together with your peers locally, nationally and sometimes even internationally, to share resources, learning and good practice. You'll also be supported to focus on what you do best, as we are always looking for ways to take away additional pressures, to give you more freedom to concentrate on improving education outcomes for young people.
We offer support beyond the classroom; from prioritising strong behaviour management strategies to giving you access to our award-winning data management platform. Three times a year, people working in specific roles or subject areas get together to share best practice and deepen their subject knowledge with peers from across the Ark network.

From creating and working with new curricula and teaching techniques, to collaborating with other schools and partners to share what works, we’re always aiming for system change. Through Ark Ventures, we incubate, launch and scale initiatives, such as Mathematics Mastery, English Mastery, Institute for Teaching and Ambition School Leadership, that address some of the most intractable issues in education and society – in the UK and around the world.
