Water for everyone

How clean is your water?

On Thursday 23rd November the STEM club was hosted by representatives from ‘Engineers without Borders’, who ran the workshop ‘Water for Everyone’. Students looked at the various ways in which water is made safe to drink across the world and specifically at some countries who do not have advanced resources to do so. They were then tasked with the exciting challenge of purifying water using various filters – putting their scientific knowledge and problem solving skills to the test!

A huge well done to Mohamed Rahim (9AHU), Shakil Ahmed (9AHN) and Aimaan Sarwar (9AHU) for being both the quickest team and winning the challenge to produce the purest water.
