AVA Governor visits Parliament

Our Parent Governor (Aisha Khan) went to Parliament on Wednesday 20th October to speak on behalf of our parents struggling with Citizenship. Earlier this year, Aisha listened to the stories of parents and has since been working with Jess Phillips MP on trying to make the Pathways to Citizenship "timely, affordable and fair." Whilst Jess did not sign up to join the Citizenship Network, she took the Citizens UK report and agreed to meet with Ark Victoria Academy Parents to hear their stories.
