School Updates

Welcome from our Principal, Ms McSorley

Welcome from our Principal, Ms E McSorley
Welcome to Ark Victoria Academy serving the children and families of Small Heath, Birmingham. Our school’s values: ‘Ambitious, resilient, kind’ reflects the ethos of our school from Nursery (age 3 upwards) through to key stage 4 (age 16). We know that all children can and will achieve success and our staff work hard to nurture, support and provide challenge, to make this a reality.
Ark Victoria Academy is a non-selective, non-denominational, mixed school. We believe in the importance of developing character, nurturing values and in providing leadership opportunities for our pupils, so that they can positively contribute to our school community and beyond. This sits alongside our unrelenting focus on excellence in the academic curriculum.
Our school retains a ‘family feel’ where children and staff are respected and listened to, and their unique talents are recognised. Every pupil matters, every lesson counts, and every teacher is committed.  We take pride in our achievements and, together, we work hard to help realise the dreams and ambitions of our children and their families.

Echo Eternal Launch video

Ark Victoria Academy have created a short film for the festival and all the students in the Academy Trust to learn about Peter Lantos and his testimony. The film also features poetry created by a Year 7 student and is the starting point for curriculum and community work over the coming year.
